It is with great pleasure and excitement that I can reveal today the brand new Life Without Baby logo. This is Stage I of the Great Life Without Baby Makeover, and a new and beautiful website will be following in the New Year.
Earlier this year I spent some time thinking about what I want this website to become. In my vision, the image of a butterfly kept coming up over and over again as a symbol of transition and metamorphosis.
And that’s what we’re doing here, ladies. We are in transition. We are journeying from what we expected to be to what we will become. And the end result, just like the butterfly, will be beautiful.
And speaking of beautiful women, huge thanks to the wonderful and talented Julia Clarke at ScarletHare Designs who created the logo (and also designed the cover of my book!)

I like the new logo a lot!
For some reason this short little post brought tears to my eyes as I looked at that little butterfly on the new logo and read your words about transitioning and becoming something beautiful. I am relatively new to this blog and new to the situation in my own life of accepting a “Life without Baby.” I’ve begun to count on and gain a lot of strength from the daily encouragement and insight from this blog. Thank you so much for all of the time and effort and courage that you put into making that possible. I know that it does indeed take courage to stand up and be a voice. So, yeah…I just wanted to say THANK YOU.

Your new logo is beautiful and I love the metaphor of we childless women transitioning into a new life with new possibilities and expectations. It seems that the decision to stop infertility treatments is looked at as a ‘giving up hope.’ Even when we are faced with terrible odds of success – a 1% chance, 2% chance, etc., and great sacrifices to even achieve those low odds – society expects us to keep trying if we REALLY want it. Your logo depicting this transition as a positive change is welcomed and much needed. Thank you for writing your book and this blog, it has been helpful to me and I’m sure, so many other women out there.
