Someone backed their car or truck into mine in the Target parking lot the other week. They scraped my bumper, broke a tail light, and left. No note, no apology, no phone number.
Fortunately for me, a few days later Mr. Fab had a altercation with a concrete post, so the broken light is nothing compared to the giant scrape in my door. Sigh.
It’s Whiny Wednesday. What’s causing you to shake your head in dismay this week?
That sucks, but did you check with security? There are usually caneras in the parking lot….
My whine is more snow here where I live. Don’t mean to be too whiny, but just tired of winter this year! Looking forward to spring!!!
Jthorne, I am with you. I am here at work & it is semi-blizzarding outside (again). My husband (at home) called to say that unless the snowplows clear our street this afternoon, he won’t be able to get out of the driveway to come get me from the train tonight (which will probably be late) — I will have to take the bus & then wade home from the bus stop through the snow drifts. Not the first time I’ve done it, but frankly I am sick of February already… it is my least favourite month and this is not improving my opinion of it one bit. :p
On the bright side — no kids to worry about picking up on time from day care. š
True! And at least we don’t have to worry about calling in or finding child care arrangements when schools are closed.
I’m sorry about your car, sucks they didn’t bother leaving a note. I’m with the girls done with the snow. I’m so tired of driving to and from work on the snowy and icy roads and will be cold here for awhile so not much melting will be going on. I’m ready for spring and being able to head out for jog.
I had to delete my blog because people who were not supposed to be aware of its existence were reading it. And my future with a wonderful man depended on me closing it down. It was the means by which I grew to accept my childlessness. and it is now gone. It is ok though because with my new man I am very satisfied indeed.
