You know, I hate to waste a good Whiny Wednesday post complaining about the weather, but good grief! It was 102 degrees here yesterday…in October…in a house with no air conditioning. Plus, I had to lug a 35-pound box of books to the UPS store for shipping. The good news is, the sweat I worked up evaporated immediately.
And on my to-do list this week? Order Christmas cards. Sorry, but it’s impossible to even think about the holidays when I’m trying to focus on not melting.

My car breaking down yesterday. Now they say it’s not safe to drive, costs lots of money to repair, and will be without a car for a few days. Sigh. Wondering how this stuff happens with no warning. Getting up Extra Early today so I could drive DH to work and use his car. So tired…
My whine is my mother’s declining health and mental capacity, and having to deal with one uber-sensitive sister – not rocking any boats, yet trying to do the best for my mother. This time yesterday (Wednesday for me) I was feeling extremely stressed out and upset by it all. Feeling much calmer today.
So tired of hearing everyone political opinions. Yes, you are entitled to have an opinion, but that doesn’t mean I want to hear about it.
